help with freeze up with K 6 2 500

ok here it is K 6 2 500 on mvp3 mobo 32 meg of ram only in IE 5.5 i ran it fine for a year with 128 megs on same mobo and cpu no problem at all put it in buddys sys and he has nothing but trouble with it i think it is do to only 32 megs of ram am i right on this or not please help

give it at least 64meg and make sure your keeping it cool enough

check to see that his old ram can handle the 100 mhz bus speed, if it cant see if the mobo can run the ram at agp clock instead of cpu, or see if the bios can run the ram at "normal" instead of fast or turbo
