National Transportation Safety Board recently divulged a program they had funded in cooperation with the US Automakers for the last five years.
In a move designed to help identify the causes behind the high number of fatal accidents in four wheel drive pickup trucks the NTSB covertly installed vehicle parameter and audio recorders.
The study centered on the last 15 seconds prior to a fatal crash.
They discovered that in 49 states the last words of the drivers in 69.4% of fatal crashes were "OH NO!"
Only the state of Alabama was different where 89.3% of the final words were
"HEY Hold my Beer and Watch This!"
