Hi,

Does anyone know of a program that lets you use a laptop IR port (specifically on a Sony VAIO if it matters) as a TV/ Video remote control? I've got 5 remotes now and so I want to cut down on them!

Cheers,
Simon

Cheers for that, I'd completely forgotten that I'd posted this thread!! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

PCRemote is really cool, although I'm still going to have a go at writing my own controller using the stuff on ziplabel...

Madmatt,

does this stuff really work without errors. I had no idea programs like this were even available.
