My one year old Toshiba TV now has an hour glass shape to the picture. Ticks me off. I thought I was buying quality. Anyone had similar touble?

I'd be calling Toshiba before the warranty is over..and if it is over I would still be calling.

where did u buy it in the first place?
my toshiba is a 32 also, ad it kicks ***
no probs at all...
i'll be that it's still under some sort of warranty

Get in touch with Tosh, they are very helpful.

Yes, definately call them. Toshiba is a good company, this shouldn't happen to their products.

Thanks for the replies. I e-mailed customer support only to be told to take it to a service center. Kinda hoped they'd feel sorry for me and offer a solution besides the one they did. My 1 year everything is covered warranty expired a week or two ago. The picture tube is the only thing still covered for another year or two. And a phone call to a repair shop explained that it probably wasn't the problem. Something about the 'pinset' or somethingerether.
Oh well, live and learn.

Point that out the CS rep for Toshiba and I would not be a bit supprised if they dont cover it 100%
