need restore kit!!!--Compaq aramada 3500 notebook

does anyone know the specific procedure to reinstall win9x o a compaq armada 3500 Pll366...i assume a restore disc set is needed--i cant find any sources of same, even on compaq website---does anyone have/know of source for-this restore kit?

My "helphelp" problem on technical support groups is still not solved as i think i need these restore discs...the compaq website does not have them nor anything sounding like what i need ("softpaqs")..
