Hi, I'm trying to upgrade my RAM on my system right now...I currently have 256 Kingston PC100 Value Ram on my system and would like to see what you guys/girls =) Think is the best RAM to buy. I'm looking at PC133 at best and PC100 if the prices are too high. Im trying to upgrade enough so that I have enough spare parts to build a second computer. Any comments?? Sugg? What company should I buy from...any sites you can recommend? Thanks a bundle.

Micron makes excellent RAM. I personally think that you pay for what you get with RAM.

Meaning cheap price = cheap RAM

There are some good Reviews and Surveys at BXBoards (http://www.bxboards.com), Overclockin' (http://www.overclockin.com) and elsewhere.

You will get subjective answers from individual users here at SysOpt. Do some real research and learn about SDRAM to make a reasoned decision. I currently use the Mosel Vitalic from Memory Man. I've run it at 155MHz.

Weird thing about Micron...I think this must be a fake one or something....but I went to a computer show and bought ram there, the first 128 that i got didnt work and it was from NEC so i went and returned it and they gave me Micron Ram. it ran at 15ns? Isnt that a little slow? Anyhow, yeah i know about buying cheap ram...trust me..I've learned my lesson. Anymore ideas?
