What are a good pair of speakers?

I really dont want to spend all that much on speakers... like 50 or so... I have a soundblaster live! value.. can somebody suggest a good pair of speakers? Hopefully with a subwoofer.

I've gotten several different types at Surplus Auction....they've all been with subwoofers, and work fine...Prices are pretty cheap too ('till shipping gets added! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/redface.gif)

hey why dont you just get some RCA cables and hook up a car stereo system to your computer like i did! i have 2 3.5in sattelite speakers, 2 tweeters mounted on my monitor, 2 surround sound speakers mounted on the wall behind me, and 2 8in subwoofers under my desk! it makes stuff fall off the walls upstairs when i turn it up loud!

Well, if you're going for cheap. Consider the Altec Lansing ACS54 (4 speakers, 1 sub). You can probably find it for $50-60 online. The PCWorks 4 point surround can be had for about $60-65 also.
