Getting engaged today. We are going to the Biltmore house to do this. It is in Asheville, NC (www.biltmore.com). We are going under teh guise that we are visiting my relatives about 200 miles south of Asheville. Wow woowoo. I remember doing this with my wife, it was nerveracking to say the least, but great when she said YES.

We passed my home town and headed to Asheville and she said nothing. She just trusted that I knew where I was going. We got there and she said..."She sure lives close to the Biltmore..." http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif Everything was perfect. 80 degrees, blue skies and a slight breeze. She looked stunning. It was good that I said we were going to meet my family because she got dressed up. Wish I had told her not to wear high heels though... That was a little uncomfortable while we walked through the mansion. I stopped and got a couple to take some pics of us when I did it and it was great. As a matter of fact, it was their 30th wedding anniversary. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
I had a whole bunch of stuff I meant to say, but I ended up getting the first line out and then spazzed and then just asked her. It was a perfect day all around. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
Afterwards we went to a nice Italian restaurant (Savoy in Ahseville on Merrimon St) and then we drove back. Today I got the ring appraised for insurance and resized (didn't know her size) and she has made a hundred phone calls and is eating up the attention. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif I will post the web site here when we get the pics up.
