I cannot find this anywhere and I don't want to go out and buy a card for two little cards...
Could someone tell me the values of these two cards?
Topps #388 1987 AL All Star Wade Boggs (says 1988 TOPPS in small print, so I guess it is an 88 card)
1960 TOPPS Pete Rose (a little ragged)
The Rose is no longer mine, but I am just curious to see what it'd be worth if I still had it.
Thanks
Dave

Rose won the Rookie of The Year in 1963. Are you sure about the 1960 date ? I don't think they did minor leagues back then.
a 1963 Rose( rookie) is worth twixt 500-850 bucks.
a 1964 Rose is worth twixt 75-125 bucks,
an 87 boggs is worth .25 cents.
there's no special price on an '88 boggs All-Star...the whole 1988 topps set is worth 15.00 bucks retail.
Prices are from Beckett's March 2001.
Beckett's is the bible re: card prices.
I still have my Al Spangler rookie, Bob "Hurricane" Hazel
and Curt Flood - Washington Senators(no logo) ..none of them worth spit except for memories.

No I am not sure of the Rose. I know I sold it really cheap though (for 2 cds back when cds were brand new and I was much younger) http://www.sysopt.com/forum/redface.gif It was one of his first years (but not his rookie...not even I was that dumb) http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
Thanks for the info. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
Dave
This strikes me as something they should provide online - price lookups... then again... they wouldn't make any money off the Beckett magazines... but then again... how are other publications/magazines (ie. MaximOnline, etc.) doing it with their online presence eh?
