I got a Cambridge Sound Works 5 Speaker surround sound system. Unfortunately I put a staple through one of the speaker wires when mounting on the ceiling... ouch. Does anyone know if replacements are availible (or if you have one around i can buy?).

just cut the wire and splice it back together and it will work fine again

Not saying that won't work, but GhostAgent does bring up an interesting point: what if one of the actual speakers were destroyed somehow; where would one go to replace them?

What size are they? 2"? Maybe someone makes 2" speakers...

Yea, i was gonna splice them... i just dont want them to look "ugly". but yea- i couldnt find replacements anywhere (2inch btw)

But even if you get the same size, you also have to get speakers of the exact same specifications, or else you'll probably have variations with sound quality, and/or volume from the one different speaker.

Oh yeah...the other thing is, how are you supposed to get the case off? Can you?

Ghost, you could just neatly put some electrical tape on it and it should look fine.
