This is my first wedding to be in...and of course, I am best man. I have never been to a bachelor's party (although I have seen the movie with tom hanks... hehe), and need some advice.
We (of course) will be going to the strip clubs (sorry ladies, but I hear its a must). I just wanted some other ideas. My plans were to rent a limo or something so none of us have to drive. I live in the St. Louis area. there are many bars/clubs/and some strip clubs.
I kinda have an idea of what to do as in places to go, but what should I do during the night? I have seen some bachellorette parties before and they make the bachelorette dress up funky and do wierd things. Any suggestions?
Also, while I am at it...do I have to give the groom a special gift cause I am the best man?
Thanks!
Paul c.
Paul, there's a limo co in town which has "party buses" - the kind of thing used for airport shuttle vehicles, except redone inside. Bar on wheels, basically. Be a great way to get from club to club!
I can't remember the name of the outfit, though. Might have been Admiral Limo, but I'm not positive. Look in the phone book under limos. And you already know about the east side clubs, I'm sure. If not, the driver WILL know!
As to a gift - any "special gift" http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif he recieves that night will only cause him a major problem if (when) she finds out!! Best you can do is stay sober enough to ensure he does NOT get said gift!!

A party bus is the way to go. Make sure to get a keg or two also, drinks in the clubs cost too much.
Like ED said stay sober. And be willing to drop some money on dances for him.

Not a stag night but, we rented a vintage limo one night for a guy's birthday. We all dressed in 1930's style gangster suits, with the hat's and violin cases.
Everywhere we went, it created a bit of attention.
I've a few more, but to be honest, they're not easily repeatable!
All the best, Justy.

NO! NO! NO!
You have to go to Las Vegas!!
You, him and some friends!!
And then get a stripper in your hotel-suite!
And then one of you must accidently kill her while having sex with her!
And then you have to kill the Hotel boy that comes to check what all the noise is about!
And then you have to make them into little pieces so they fit into bags and then you drive out into the desert and bury them where they will never be found!
And then on your way home one of you is going to have a bad conscience!
And then you have to kill him too!
And so on until only you and the groom are left!
BTW: Anyone saw the movie "Very bad things"?? Hillarious!

SoopaStar,
I've been to a few parties and the main thing is to make sure that he has something to drink, maybe a dancer (not necessarily a stripper), and a lot of friends to help celebrate his last night as a single guy.
As for your part, just make sure that he has fun, doesn't drink so much that he's unable to remember the next day, and doesn't do something that he will REALLY regret.
Other than that, I say have fun and drink one for me.

Here's a new one, I just thought of it! Tie him up in a chair and gag him, you and everyone else party your @$$e$ off and make em watch! Let him see what he's giving up! At least for an hour http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Make sure it is not the night before the wedding. that is the stupidest thing I have ever hear abot these things. The last thing you want is to have the worst hangover of your life as you say "I do".
Strippers have been a necessity in all of the BP's I have been to. if I do not have one, I will be a bit upset. the party bus is also a must.
