A thought for adding a power supply without too much cost: two power supplies linked together.
I just wonder if it would be possible (and safe) to link two 250W ATX power supplies together in such a fashion that both will be activated/deactivated by the same signal on the motherboard. In other words, can this be done: wire the entire motherboard connectors of both power supplies together, or just figure out which pins are needed to activate the supplies?

Suggestions? I suspect this might not be practical or safe, because it seems no one has done it yet; at least not that I've heard of.
