they finally came through with a good monitor to replace my 900P. I received a brand new 955SL today and it seems quite nice. I don't like it quite as well as the 900P when it worked properly, but for the hell both myself and the Samsung repair people have been through, I'll settle.
For those that don't remember my initial rant - I was sent not one but THREE defective replacement monitors. They about wore me down and I had nearly given up, but sent one last email to Helman Lukito at SamsungMonitor.com which apparently got things moving again.
