Sending a Message only knowing the ip address

Anyone knows if there a way to send a message to someone if i only have his ip address, i have someone sniffing on my pc, thanks god i have a firewall, but they were 4 tries today.

So anyone can give me hand, is there a way to send a message to someone using only his ip address?

Usually its best to send it to the "abuse" email account of whoever is the ISP as you will not know if they have a Static or Dynamic IP for the most part. It would be usually...

don't get too paranoid about your firewall.. Sometimes is just some "indirect" site such as Sysopt's "ad.focalink" site. They sometimes check u out b4 u leave, or when u enter the site.. The firewall though will not let them do that.. or you may have not shutdown the connection to that site. It made me paranoid,but it's ok.. it's probably just a site.. its not everyday u see someone trying to hack.

Assuming it is a static ip, and it's someone trying to hack, you could try this. If someone has posted to USENET, you could do a search of the ip on DEJA (advanced search). I found a few people who kept trying to hack me for weeks that way.
