I could spend hours telling of the fate of the world's children that I have seen when I was in the US Navy. People in the "West" have no idea what it's like when you hit the grassroots in foriegn lands. I was never so glad to get back to Norfolk (VA) and plant my feet on the good ole USA. I feel esspecially for the kids in the middle east. It's a world apart from the reality we live. And there's not a whole hell of alot anyone can do about it. Just read the news and say "What a shame,
why doesn't someone do something about this"
But what can we really do on a one to one level???? Not much except hope and pray.....
