I don't see what harm could be done by letting this site exist; it was actually free advertising. However, I have to say, after reading the letter that Fry's might have a couple of points:

Unauthorized use of Frys name or registered trademarks.

Direct links to competitors.

Reproduction of copyrighted material.

Almost any business would object to those things.

Well, there is www.walmartsucks.com (http://www.walmartsucks.com) - and I don't think that walmart can do anything about it. I think this is a scare tactic. Of course, Fry's has more resources that you or I, so they might very well figure that if they can just make this guy's life miserable enough, that he'll go away.

Recently at a site to "Grade" teachers there was a lawsuit.

A teacher sued the site for defamation of character or something..

Anyway, in the end the Professor wound up paying attorney fees of about 10 grand.

His GPA was 1.37 with 75 votes.
