Does anybody know something about ghostview for restore. Namely, we can upload the ghost image onto a server and use it to restore a computer when the computer got problems. Is there a website I can get the imformation?

Sorry, after quite a bit of searching, the only GhostView program I can find is used to view and convert PostScript files.

yup, howste's right, I think you are confusing it with Norton Ghost (and other similar utilities), which will do what you ask.

Check out Norton's site for more info on Ghost.

If anyone can tell me how to make a system backup/recovery CD set with Driveimage or Drivespace or whatever its called, I'd be grateful too. Making the image files isn't a problem, it's recovery I haven't got straight http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif Naturally, I don't want to try it without knowing it works. Catch 22 LOL

U-96,
If your talking about PowerQuest Drive Image, I happen to use it all the time.
I never bothered to make a bootable CD, but have restored with an Image CD set and a Windows boot disk.
