How do you determine how many songs you can get on your cd? Will the software do that? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Most CDs hold 74 minutes, but most burn programs will let you go a bit over without cutting off the last song. A good program should tell you.

You can also get 80 minute CD-R disks.

If you use them for data, they hold 700mb.

Hi haydeni

Nero5.0 runs a indicator of used/unused space as you drag 'n' drop your files over http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Check out your burner first, before rushing out and buying a swag of 80 min CD's. Some burners dont support them. Also, some burners wont let you "overburn"; ie: more than 74 mins.
