The ever so great and wonderful Buji posted the following url http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q217/1/48.ASP?LN=EN-US&SD=gn&FR=0
to answer an WIN98 auto complete question I had. That solved part of the puzzle that is deleting unwanted passwords.
Now another question-any way I can view the passwords stored on my machine and associated with certain user names. I have so many user names on so many sites I tend to forget what they are and then have problems recalling or changing the passwords later.

Once again, any assistance appreciated.

And a word of praise-this site is wonderful for a novice user like myself-Thanks for sharing all.

AntiOnline has a page of Windows sniffers and password crackers here: http://www.antionline.com/cgi-bin/anticode/anticode.pl?dir=windows-sniffers-and-password-crackers
I tried Cain. All I did was ran the program and clicked on the "cached passwords" icon and it instantly listed all the internet passwords I allow IE to cache.

I hope this helps,

Steve

BTW AntiOnline is a computer security site. They post these programs so that people can test their system security against all the "baddies" out there who are using them trying to break into their computers.
