I just upgraded to Media Player 7.0. It is pretty good but it just bogs down my PC. I used to use Sonique but it did the same. What is the best MP3 player to use that just doesn't kill resources.

I'm talking about using the player when I'm doing just one other thing. Like using Word or just surfing. Everything just grinds while I'm listening.

Any suggestions?

If it helps I am running a K6-2 400 with 128Mb or RAM. So I wouldn't think that it should affect my performance so much. But maybe I'm wrong.

I like Music Match Jukebox a lot.

If that still bogs down your system, try Winamp.

I'd suggest Winamp. It plays tunes with no skips or glitches as I surf the net, even on a K6/166!!!

I'd have to agree with the winamp, I've been using it since day one, in fact if I have a rummage around I think I still have one of the very first releses, and that ran alright on a P75, (sort of)
