Even though I live in the southern part of our country now, I'll always remember the first Christmas I can rmemember. Reckon I was three or four and still can see the snow beginning to fall thru the living room window propped up on a phone book ( we had BIG phone books in Queens)on Christmas eve. In the morning the snow covered everything and how we hated to even make a footprint in it and ruin the beauty the nature saw to bless on Christmas day. So, for me, I'll always have White Christmas wherever I am. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif Merry Christmas to one and all http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/biggrin.gif the pickel Gomer 12-24-2000, 07:22 AM At least 24" on the ground here now, 10"-14" more today into tonight. I live on the SW lower corner of the lake in MI and we get dumped on on a pretty regular basis. sharder8 12-24-2000, 09:37 AM I grew up in Northern Minnesota, always had tons of snow and lows in the -40's. Now I'm living in south central Oregon and at aprox. 4,000ft. and NO SNOW!!!!! The kids really miss the snow and ice skating, the wife and I don't miss the snow shoveling. Merry Christmas to all and to all a "White Christmas"!! SysOpt.com
