No matter your political affiliation and beliefs, this will be a good read. There's been a lot of bitterness from both sides of the table, and I think some of us may forget the roots of our great nation and place our own self-interests above them. I believe it is important for us to reflect upon the circumstances surrounding those who sacrificed so much, so we could enjoy the freedoms we have today.

I know that some of you might not like or agree with Rush, but just read what his father has to say here:

It has been a while since I've read that. Words cannot describe the pride I feel when I think of the Founding Fathers and the Declaration of Independance.

Ok, I know I sound arrogant when I say this, but I'm okay with that. This isn't a thread that should be easily forgotten, and I reiterate the point that you should all be reading this. So ^. Hah!
