Sad News

I received word this evening of a member's passing recently.

He's known as Zeeker, and although he was an infrequent poster at SysOpt, I felt it important his passing be noted here, as he was well-liked and respected by many within the BBS communities, including SysOpt.

My sympathies to the family of the man known as Zeeker, and may God be with you.

I'm Zeeker's sister, Sheila (She)writing to say goodbye for him. He passed away late yesterday afternoon. As his health had begun to fail and he could no longer fly-fish, this computer and you people filled the void. Many hours he spent here, posting and reading and telling his wife B all about it so that she feels like she knows most of you(even though I often saw that glazed look in her eyes that comes over people who don't have a clue about computers!--but she knows your names and that he enjoyed you!)
We are very sad, but so thankful to have had "Zeeker" in our lives. I hope you feel the same.
