I recently (yeaterday!) installed DSL on my workstation.

Eveything works fine (soooooooooooooooooooo much faster!), BUT when I visit adcritic.com and try to view a MOV, the Quick Time plug-in initializes and it begins to play the video -- then the video and D/L will pause and hang-up at various (not consistent) percentages of the playback, ranging anywhere from 1% to 99%. And the D/L progress line will change from XX% of YYYYKB (ZZ.ZKB/s) (the percentage of the file being viewed and the speed) to 0% of small number (between 5 and 35KB). This NEVER happened when I used my dial-up account (probably so slow that I never noticed)!

I have tried every combination of settings in Netscape, and quite a few calls to the various parties Tech Support...I even thought it might be the banner/pop-up ads, so I D/L'd a banishment program. No effect/luck!

Has anyone else had this similar problem??

I'm using NT 4.0, SP 6.0a, Netscape 4.74 (128 bit), and Quick Time 4.12.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Might try checking to see what you have your connection speed in Quicktime is.

Imperion is probably right. Also do that with your other programs (Real Player, Music Match I think, etc.).
