I don't know about you folks, but I hosed them for those ValueDollars every chance they offered them to me. Nearly free money, as long as you needed the stuff anyway.

Just goes to show that while money can buy you happiness, it can't necessarily buy you web-customers! (j/k) hahahah or something like that!

Seriously, though, the acquistion cost per customer must have been huge, and I am willing to bet that there were few repeat customers who didn't just take the deals and run (like we all did!). http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Yeah, uh-huh. Sad. Last yr in June I got a Proteva 366AMD, 64Ram, 4.3hd for $331.00 inc s/h for my g/f, runs great. For me, in Nov 99 got a IBM 475, 64pc100, 100fsb, ibm 13.2@7200 for $574.00 shipped, great price. Got 5 boxes of Kodak Glossy photo paper for something like $48.00. Inkjet carts for the HP for, cheap, I forget. I think a moment of silence is in order. DrVette
