Your only options is one or the other. Or you can network them and try sharing the internet connection. Win98se and win2000 has internet sharing built in and sygate software will work too. Rob http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif grunt 08-09-2000, 04:53 PM You don't network 2 modems together - you network the 2 machines together, then use ICS built into 98SE or Win2K. You can also use a 3rd party internet connection sharing program like Wingate. Warthog 08-09-2000, 06:15 PM To easily network two computers together without running wires (besides your phoneline), get the Intel Anypoint phoneline network. It's about $70 per computer. Then you could share internet between two comps and share files. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif Warhog chipbgt 08-09-2000, 06:45 PM Actually it is possible, but it is contingent upon your ISP and if you have two modems that will cooperate. mykel 08-11-2000, 05:29 PM chipbgt: enlighten me on this one.. I thought you can connect your computer w/ two modems on two phone lines but not like the setup that RobUK asked.. Isn't it?? If I'm wrong (I hope I am) that would save me a lot that getting a DSL..
