I need to set up an email account somewhere, and am wondering just what is available out there besides Hotmail.
My ISP (Freewwweb) has folded, but apparently the only thing I lost was email service. The phone is still in service since they somehow shared a number with MSN, just used different DNS settings. I guess nobody told MSN to kill it.
Anyway, nearly a month since they closed and I'm still using it!!

But I'd like to get my email going again, so what's available, and what are the pro's & con's to those services??

Thanks!
Ed

Hotmail like you mentioned, Yahoo, just do a search for free email. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif you will find a bunch.
Downside? Junkmail of course. You can eliminate 90% of that by blocking mail with subjects including nude, naked, porn, free http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

My fav is www.go.com (http://www.go.com) , Why, cause you can "cut and paste" directly to the e-mail page without doing the stupid "browse" like in yahoo. It's not as pretty as yahoo or Outlook Express, but Hey, what'cha expect for free. DrVette
