When I right click my A drive from My Computer, I am able to read the properties info. However when I double click it left, It reads "Drive Failure." I tried re-installing it but it has not rectified the problem.

Did you put a floppy disk in to read?

Does bios recognize drive on boot up?

Try to access it in DOS. Also like Pete said be sure it's right in bios. Try another disk. Floppy drives are cheap - if nothing else just replace it.

Yeah, try a disk and see what it does.

If not - and if you/we can't arrive at another solution - just replace the drive, as grunt said. They're only like $15-20.

Check in your BIOS and make sure that your floppy drive controller is active.
