I was just on Yahoo! and looking around in their categories and found this site:
http://shellcity.net

It says it has alternate shells to replace shell.sys and shell32.sys and other files in the c:\windows directory. I haven't tried them yet, and I'm wondering if anyone uses these.

They claim better navigation throughout Windows and a better-looking display. One even says it's a 3-d interfact that flies around like an airplane when you move your mouse; something like the computers in the movie "Hackers".

I'm curious and interested in your thoughts on this, and which one to go with.

We've goofed around with alternate shells for some of our NT boxes.

I always like the Linux like interfaces, it just makes the machine FEEL more stable.

Check 'em out, save your originals (rename, move) so you can always go back.
