Whenever I edit a message, the links stop working because they are translated into HTML, and then UBB won't recognize the code.
You can see what happens <A HREF="http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/Forum17/HTML/001254.html" TARGET=_blank>here</A>

Is there a way to stop this?

Only one way I know of is to not edit your posts anymore. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/Forum17/HTML/001062.html

3dfiles.com's bulletin board has some feature that prevents that from happening. Don't know how, but the code they added works good.

Hey, that wurks! Somwerbody as perfwct as me doewn't need to chane a sinvle thing@!

Hmm, maybe if I just wrote it in HTML in the first place?
<a href=http://www.sysopt.com>like this</a>

Drat! That didn't work! But at least it didn't get worse. This is probably because HTML is disabled.

I been real curious as to why it started doing it, because it never did it before.
(Inquiring minds want to know) http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif
Couple times I have not edited or corrected spelling because of it.
Thanks BFlurie, I'll try as you suggested next time.

It is an inconvenience to have to remove the HTML code and redo it with the UBB code. If you have several links it really becomes a pain. It has been happening for a over a month now.

Jeff7 3dfiles.com had the same problem? If so maybe someone should contact them and see how they resolved this problem. When it first happened to me I spent some time digging through the Scriptkeeper Forums (http://www.scriptkeeper.com/cgi-bin/Ultimate.cgi) but could not find anyone else who had the problem.
