Drive a: not refreshing

I am a new user to win 2000. When I explore drive A: and change disks, windows reports the same data as the previous disk, even if I refresh. Help any one

Try booting to a boot disk and see if has the same affect. I think you have a bad floppy drive. Good Luck!

I don't have Winders > than 98, but...

Place floppy 1 into drive (floppy 1 contains one or more files). Explore.

Place floppy 2 in drive. Try to copy file from floppy 1 in explorer, what happens?
