I am conducting a servey that will be due very soon for my sociology class. I would greatly apreciate any help.

the question is simple. Do you spend more time with your friends or family?

the names of people serveyed are required for this asignment.

thanks =)

Time - or waking hours - there is a difference -

Time -
Family
Co-workers
Friends

Waking hours -
Co-workers
Family
Friends

I spend more waking hours at work than any other activity - nothing like earning some coin.... I have to pay for my bad habits, after all.

I have a 3 year-old which means I often cannot spend as much time as I would like with friends -

Friends because of school. Otherwise, family.

What name format do you want?
J. Doe
or
John D.

<-- Thats my name. (without the 184!)

I'd say friends, since I'm with them at school all day. Then family.

I would say I spend most of my time with friends. Family time is OK, but I take my exsposure to this nightmare in moderation. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

Family first, then friends. Do you count time spent at SysOpt as "friends" time?

Friends.

I try to steer clear of my family as much as humanly possible because there a little on the evil side.

I think it is a very age dependant question.
The very young spending most time with there parents
the teenager with friend (rebelling from parents)
20-30 possible friend work and girlfriends
30-40 family work friends (assuming kids)
etc.. etc..
So just knowing that i spend most time with friend doesn't really mean much if you don't know my age.
