The link above I have posted contains information which is to me,a great dishoner to the Literal master Tolkien........his works need to be unadulterated......anything less would be a blashpheme to his great intelligence and wisdom.........I would shudder were this movie to portray something which was not as written.......and I know you would as well..........

Please Please I beg you, sign this petition...and study it.............

Please sign it even if you are not a Tolkien Fan.............sign it to keep the Lifes Passion of a Great man pure......

Thank you for any help.......

oblivion... Aren't they done making the movie (or very close)? I think nothing short of legal intervention will keep them from changing the story so the big name stars will get more screen time. It sure is a shame.

Never mistake Hollywoods intentions for making movies. They aren't trying to bring Tolkein's dream to the screen; they're simply trying to make money no matter what it takes, and no matter who's literary work they must tarnish.

The movie is never as good as the book. Just hope that people will read the book (and like it) after they see the movie.

They will not be done until next spring....and it could still get delayed...my friend from new zealand seems to know alot about it......anyways,while they are trying to make money, the tolkien estate was waiting for the technology to come to par....and they were waiting for someone that could bring the movie closest to His world...and I think that they have done a good job for the most part.......

But the change in the story will take place in all 3 movies, and there is ample time to make it write....would you guys at least please email them with your thoughts on the subject?? It can not hurt.

I just do not want to see a love story thrown into it.

Hello to all the Tolkien fan (and to the non ones too, hehe http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif ),

I am also looking forward to seeing that movie at the cinemas but I agree that Holywood companies just wanna make money from their movies and so I don't expect to see a pure Tolkien's creation there. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif Too bad, cause this would be my dream!!

Long live the children of Ilouvatar and may Oulmo protect you all! Farewell! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif
