Avast ye matey, ye landlubbers know not the likes of what I have pirated. Aye, I have sailed the seas for many a year plundering her booty.

Arg, I grow tired of this talk. Run the Jolly Roger up the mizzen mast and back to sea we go. Leave me to my journeys less I keel haul you and leave you for the kraken Gar!!

Nope

(I wonder how many people that will say "yes" have mp3's they have not legally obtained the rights to..they would be hypocrites of the worst sort if this were the case)

When I was a working, my answer would still be the same.

And I'd bet most of you guys don't have "legal" mp3s on your computer.

Are you guys all trying to say that you paid $300 or whatever it cost to run an operating system that you have to reinstall every 6 months anyway? Or did some of you just buy a Win98 upgrade to a pirated Win95 copy? Or just bought the Win98 upgrade to a legal Win95?

No and Yes. To view a game or test its gameplay. If the game sucks delete it. If the game is good, go buy it and give the makers their due for the time and commitment they have put into it.
MP3's.. So your saying you own the CD/cassete for every MP3 you have on your HD?

Now, hang on a moment: The question was: Do you SUPPORT piracy, not "have you ever pirated something."

We've all done things we aren't proud of and don't believe were right--that doesn't make a person a hypocrite. Everyone makes mistakes.

Personally yes, I'll admit, I've copied software. But I'm not proud of it, I try very hard not to do it, I don't think it's right, and I don't defend theft.

No, I do not have any illegal mp3's, or pirated software on my system.

WEll, everything I have is from select cd's from my work ( which is legal ) or from shareware.

I could care less about MP3's.
