I'm going to convert an ULTRA66 to a FASTTRAK66 using the instructions provided by Sysopt.com(Thank you very much, but it don't say what wattage of 100-ohm resistor to use. Does it make a difference?

Thanks for the help

Not sure of the wattage, but use the one that has the bands like this one here: http://www6.tomshardware.com/storage/00q1/000329/fastrak66-05.html

This is the one I used and it works great. I also modified mine this way instead of soldering pin to pin or pin to chip below the bios chip ont he card. The one pictured above is the safest way. Only need to toucht he card once with the solder.

if I may
the site says 1/4W is OK. of course higher watages no problem only physicaly bigger. the confusion may be the resistance. cant find my color code card, but the one you use may not look the same any way, the page says 100-1000 does this mean 100 to 1000 or 100K
(100.000) OHMS.
