It hasn't!....weird cos when I connect to the modem I can turn the connection sound up or down and thats it. When I click on the speaker icon to turn the sound up or down there is no 'ping' sound. Any other suggestions? LOL Banti 08-07-2000, 07:55 AM I think we are all guilty of over complicating a comp problem. I know I have spent many a day looking for a complex software fix for a simple hardware problem. Banti dgardner 08-07-2000, 08:19 AM LOL Well I am certainly guilty of that, I spent a whole week once trying to fix a printer which printed but with nothing on the page! It took my little brother who was 6 to point out that the ink had probably run out and to remember when he dropped the printer and broke the LED!!!! Doh! ~Dave~ SysOpt.com
