LOL.... I'd say if the case can physically move under its own power, you've probably got a little too much air movement <rofl>.

The moment a fan is too big???

I think at the point that it don't fit in yer case anymore.

So I'd say that one is pretty close to being too big. LOL

I used to have a massive fan like that, and I taped it to the side of my case, and then I got another big fan, which fit inside my case, and I used it to blow the hot air out, and it did squat diddly do the case temp, so i tore it off.

Hmmmmm, when is a fan too big?

I'd have to say when I can't hear my music pumping through the stereo anymore... http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif

Or maybe when its so big that it dim's the lights in my room when I turn it on.. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

What about magnetic shielding?

Sheilding?

Ummm...I think he's going on the 'active interference shielding' technique or something like that. Theory being that if you saturate teh circuitry with magnetic flux from a big fan motors windings, then no external signals will reach the circuitry and all will be ok.

Well, it's about as bright as that case is in the first place!

Not bad, But I think you could get an attic fan to work too http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
What is the BTU rating? And when winter hits do you plan on turning off the heater?
LOL!!
Great stuff.

Wow, you could strap that fan to a rowboat and glide through the swamps in the everglades!

I'd say a fan is to big when you can't get it in your house through the door or when it blows you keyboard, mouse or monitor away. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
