That's pretty funny! Granny's down with that!
"Do as I say, sonny, not as I do..."
And so began, the Needle Point Revolution of the 21st Century...
and I was there!

Little bit of a funny read for you. I had no idea grandmothers were so technically inclined http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Going after those ol ladies reminds me of the bullies in school who were really Sissies. The only ones who they'd pick on were weak, small and frail people who didn't have the ability to fight back. I hope one of the old ladies knows Tai-Kwondo and gives them a front snap kick to the solar plexis. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gifDrVette

The industries concerns might be unfounded though, albeit I understand them. This type of exposure and access might HELP its flailing business as people have newly generated interest in it. Not everyones going to go online to get a pattern, but maybe some will and get started in it when they wouldn't have otherwise.
In a congressional hearing, the guy representing Napster said that CD sales are actually up since napster. I could believe that - people are getting into music that they wouldn't be doing otherwise and sometimes want to have the hardcopy with sleeve and stuff. (Although I don't know if I would automatically take his testimony at face value though either, but it sounds reasonable)
I've got to get back to my cross-stich now... http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
