Browser problem, HELP!!!

I'm experiencing this problem with my browser. For example, I have 2 browsers opened. I click on a link on browser A and then click on another link on browser B. Browser B will not load its page until browser A finishes loading its page.

I have also experienced similar problem when downloading stuff. For example, I want to download 2 files. I click to start to download the 1st file. Then I click on the second to download simultaneously but nothing happens until the 1st one is downloaded. I can't even surf freely, it's like my connection has jammed up.

Anybody out there can help me?

I use IE 5.5 and I connect to the Internet thru a Local Area Network (LAN)

I think the problem you are having is basically due to your pc not being able to handle too many downloads and open applications at once. The more powerful your pc the more it tends to be able handle. I may be wrong but I had the same problem until I upgraded
