OK, ive been burning up napster for a couple days now...and since Ive got a cd burner im wondering....is there a way to put some mp3's onto an audio cd, Ive heard that you have to rip them....is there a (free) program that anyone could recomend. Any tips or ideas on how to go about it? Or am I way off and there is no way to turn an mp3 into a regular cd song?

Its very simple. What you want to do is change the mp3's into wav files. Do you have winamp? You do? Good. go into the preferences and under ouput change it to the third option, which has something to do with wave out...at any rate, drop the songs you want to put on the cd into the playlist, and hit play. Winamp will change them for you. then, assuming you are using easy cd creator, choose to make an audio cd and drag those wav files onto the cd..and burn.
By the way, "rip" refers to the process of taking wav files off of a cd to change into mp3 format.
