Axel 08-04-2000, 09:13 AM Two things - make sure to rest your elbow on a high enough arm rest while using the mouse and also use one of those gel pads to rest your palm on while using the mouse - One reason of many why I play turn-based strategy games and not live action 3d games.... Eli 08-04-2000, 09:26 AM I feel your pain... <<<rubbing wrists>>> Don't try using your left hand with the mouse just to let the right rest. You'll only end up with two sore wrists... http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif burnup 08-04-2000, 10:11 AM axel do u mean put my arm at a degree not make a straight planar contact with the mouse? Dave_H 08-04-2000, 10:44 AM Time to try a trackball, and give up pushing around a silly mouse. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/wink.gif http://www.logitech.com/cf/products/productoverview.cfm/12 Dave Brangwen 08-04-2000, 01:59 PM I use the eraser end of a pencil to casually maneuver the numpad Accessibility Features in Windoze Control Panel. Took a little getting used to, but if the acceleration is on full both in those mouse settings and if the Keyboard settings (also) Control Panel are set on fast, it becomes second nature and my wrist never hurts. Give it a go. I already have a gel pad for my keyboard. I never got one of those mouse pads with the built in gel pad because I new I would have to replace the pad someday. But now that I have an Intellimouse, it doesn't matter. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif Warthog burnup 08-05-2000, 12:31 AM oh man i'm to0 freaking cheap to buy another mouse! i spent 70 on this ms explorer hahahah SysOpt.com
