Beware of Eric Rebers (Rebes)

I had hoped to never do one of these kinds of posts, but here it is. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif I sent Rebes a SCSI Zip drive on July 23 and have yet to receive payment for it. Promises of money orders and PayPal have been many, but have never happened. In the last message I received from him on 8/24 he promised to "keep me updated," but I haven't heard from him since. I have found out from a few other traders that he has had some problems in the past.

His name is Eric Rebers of Watertown CT

I would have asked him to ship first, but he had good HeatWare from several reputable traders I have dealt with.
I got a phone number from another trader, but no one has answered after repeated calls. Another trader was able to contact him on 8/28. He promised again to pay, but nothing has come of it. I've sent an email to the Troll Hunters with full transaction histories.

BTW this transaction was at another board. AFAIK he has never traded on SysOpt, but I thought you good people deserved a "heads up" too.

Don't trade with him!

Do a search for Blade, find his address, and tell him all the info you got. He'll warn others on Anand's and update the PCA bad traders thread.
