convert clp. to jpg or gif.??

I have a page of text, Iv'e converted from word perfect to a clp. file. want to put it on a web page, but will only take jpg or gif how do I convert it, dont want to type the whole darn thing in

Paint shop pro will open clp files. it is then justa simple matter of resaving it either as a jpg or gif.

The .clp format is for Windows clipboard.
You should be able to open the file, copy it and paste it into any program that will allow you to save it as a .jpg or .gif.
Normally MS Paint will save as those file types.
Here is a free program that you may want to try. Exellent utility! (It's a small download too).

Edit- Sorry Al, I'm wrong.
Although the program Irfanview claims to support .clp files, I can't get it to open any. I have no problem saving and opening .clp files with clipboard viewer, but I'm a little stumped as to how to convert them to a .jpg or .gif.
Changing them to HTML with notepad is easy though.

have the Print Shop by Broderbund, no where does it say how to do this, Downloaded PSP. 29MB, would you believe after 4 hours at less than 1K/sec, went to bed and let it run, cant find any instructions there either. to do the job. may try the cut and paste if I can figure out a proggy it will work with. maybe MS paint, have never used it. why does it have to be so complex?? http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

Da## just went to my docs, and every clp. file is now a PSP icon, click it get PSP and it says cant do it because its a clp. file. Duh.
no help from PSP concidering deleting it,
