Does anyone else have a problem with ICQ2000 checkin your mail?
I have had ICQ99b since it was released. I have installed it on many occasions (when windows gives up) and all has been fine. I enter my mail aco**** details, pop server names, smtp server names, username and password. It all works perfect! When I have mail, it tells me so!
Well, I tried 2000a......on no, that doesn`t check my mail at all! I enter the same details as before, same options blah blah blah!. If I manually select from the menu to check my mail, it does indeed pick it up. But will it do it on it`s own? Hell no!
I have uninstalled 99b (before you ask, lol). I dunno what`s up, anyone else got this problem? I tried again this evening, uninstalled 99b, installed 2000a.....mail check doesn`t work. Uninstalled 2000a, installed 99b.....works again! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/frown.gif
