If you're not terribly concerned with sound sensitivity, you should look into a cold cathode tube. They're a lot brighter and run cooler than neon kits.

thanks for the tips, i already ordered one from pcmods. i'm looking for a second one for a project i got planned. just tryin to see if i can find another one a little cheaper.
