need viideocable for a 4 yr old Proview 14" monitor.

It connects to monitor motherboard via 12 pin female plastic connector.

Are these proprietary or can someone help me with a substitute (preferably used..as i dont want to pay more foe the cable than the monitor is worth!!).

If that's a 12-pin 2-row connector that goes to the computer, the monitor is for a MAC. They sell adapters at Computer Geeks http://www.compgeeks.com for $1.25 each

interesting as I was using it with a PC computer!

The 12 pin female plug inserts just under the rear of the CRT on the circuitboard-on the inside of the monitor ....may be proprietary? A new one (frm the manufacturer)= $36..more than the monitor is worth -(
