Okay, before I try on Ebay, I have a nice compaq laptop for sale. I bought it my last semester in college to use for classes...now I really don't need it.
Its a Compaq 1200 series notebook. Its an AMD k62-500mhz with 64MB RAM, 24x CDrom, 12.1" HPA screen (much better than dual scan...not QUITE as good as active matrix..still really bright), and a 6gb harddrive.
Upgrades included:
* 128MB PC100 Sodimm (PNY or kingston...i forgot which. from best buy..have the packaging)
* Linksys Network card 10/100 cardbus (with solid connection..not stupid dongle!)
* original software and paperwork
* USB LCD light (REALLY COOL)
* 3 year best buy warranty, including their no-lemon policy.
I did have the harddrive replaced about a month ago. My brother bumped the unit while it was booting (knocked it off the table I was on..about 1 foot off the ground) and i guess it jostled it enough. It had 2 bad sectors, so I had it replaced.
Unit is in really good condition. Also, if you need any accessories (a case, special mouse, PS2 port splitter, lock, etc) I do work for best buy and would be happy to price them at my cost for you.
If you are curious about anything, please email me. I want around $600 for the unit...well more than what I paid for it. (not including shipping).
