Eli 06-15-2001, 07:40 PM I'm afraid I should probably hang onto my C64 cables, but I can tell you that it should be easy to make your own. All it would need is a trip to Radio Shack. All of the connectors are still available. Heck if you want I could probably dig mine out and tell you how to wire it. alondra 06-18-2001, 04:59 PM checked R/S their plugs slightly diferent, still looking folks. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Eli 06-18-2001, 06:49 PM Really? I'm sure I made a similar plug at one point. Maybe Radio Shacks in Canada have different stock. Or had different stock, it was a long time ago. DanU 06-19-2001, 05:29 PM The Radio Shack 8 pin DIN plugs are ever-so-slightly different from the commodore 8-pin plugs. I believe you're looking for something called a 270 degree 8-pin DIN, which are a real pain to find. alondra 06-19-2001, 05:56 PM TNX for the clue, probably right, the pins ar smaller in diameter and not the same distance from the shell. I have one cable . need to find or make a couple more, luckly I found a 128 cable they are really strange. Eli 06-20-2001, 07:30 PM I'm sorry, I must be thinking of the keyboard/system to floppy drive cable. I know for sure I made an adaptor at one point to hook up the ol' 5 1/4" C64 floppy to my PC's parallel port (on a 286 and a 386 at the time). Still, if it doesn't have to be pretty it wouldn't be too hard to come up with some setup that would work. SysOpt.com
