Just how much memory is to much?Right now i have 128megs.Should i add a little more to help system peformance?

depending on your system and your software you are running.on a basic system office 97 light gaming,this is MY rule of thumb.486 to p150 32megs,p150 to 266 64 megs,300mhz to 450 mhz 128megs 450mhz to 700mhz 256megs this a good starting point.

Define light gaming. Try running Quake3, Unreal tournament, Halflife on 32-64 megs of ram. Sure, its going great at 640x480!!!
I'd say 128. Instead of buying a 64 strip, toss out the extra few bucks and get a 128. Its MORE than worth it.
Even if you do no gaming at all, and use office prgs.
Course, you'll need a semi-decent video card as well.

My old comp had a 4mb on board vid card. I did pretty well with 192mb but probably could've done fine with 128mb. I'd recommend 128 and an average video card.
