Here's the situation,I have a 7200rpm 10.2gig quantum fireball lm,a 5400 rpm 546meg drive and a 4800 rpm 1.2gig drive.
Right now I got the 1.2gig with windows and as primary and the 10.2 as a slave with only games on it.Any advice on what configuration to maximise performance.

The 10.2Gb fireball is easily going to be the fastest drive. For best performance you should have your Operating System, swap file, and most frequently used Apps on your fastest drive.
Not to mention that the other two HDD's are more likely to go to hard drive heaven before the newer drive.
Move one of the slower HD's to the 2ndary along with your CDROM and/or RW/DVD whatever and then split the 7200RPM Partitons in Primary...lose one smaller HD....be ready for one Slave Master

I left the 7200rpm drive free of windows so I wouldn't have to defragment so often to keep the drice in order.I defrag it once and week and it dosn't need to change anything around so would that mean necessary files for games would be found straight away and the computer would be fater?Isn't that a better trade-off than windows starting slower?
Correct me if wrong.
